I will begin 2 write this with the quote "Great Leader Makes Great Nations". Indonesia has 250 million people with pluralism of languages, cultures, and ethnicities and defines as the archipelago country which is contain thousands of islands.
Because of that reason, we need the leader who is strong and capable doing this his job as Indonesia's President. According to Daniel Goleman (Author of Best Selling Book Emotional Intelligence, there are 6 Leadership Styles Theory become an effective leader.
- Coercive Style. A leader has good self control and inisiative to reach his goal and wish his willingness should be approved immediately. This kind of style suitable in crisis condition and for kick-start of chnanging.
- Authorative Style. A leader has self confident and mobility and also inspired people for his vision. This kind of stylr suitable in condition which need a vision changing and clear direction.
- Affilition style. A leader could create good harmony and communication and build a main priority emotional feelings with the people. This condition is needed to build a strong team and repair the broken relationship and motivated people who are stress.
- Democratic Style. A leader could be fair in any condition. Trough an active participation, great team and good communication, this style is useful to get input or response from the people.
- Pacesetting Style. A leader could stated high standard to get a quick result from competented teams and have high motivated.
- Coaching Style. A leader could develop people to build a strong future and sustainable.
From those criterias, we should see clearly what kind of leadership style suitable for Indonesia.....What do you think?????
